We wish to thank you for your support of the Friends of the Canterbury Public Library's book and bake sale this
past Saturday. The sale was very successful and we raised $1,500 in sales and donations during a short six hours
of sales.
And to all who volunteered and donated time, books and/or baked goods, a special thank you. While we were
open for six hours, many more man and woman hours were spend in the set up, working the tables, clean up
and disposal of leftovers to contribute to the success of the sale
The Friends of the Canterbury Library initiate services and programs for the library along with providing
equipment and books that are not covered by the tax-supported budget. We help keep the community aware of
what's new at the library. We volunteer time and financial support. The Friends assist in the development and
maintenance of a pro-library conscious community. We also encourage and promote community participation
along with assisting in library growth and development.
